@wdormann I'm reviewing https://kb.cert.org/vuls/id/730261/ - are 88W8787, 88W8797, 88W8801, 88W8897, and 88W8997 the only Marvell Chipsets that were tested and confirmed vuln, or is the entire Marvell Avastar Chipset line affected

Thanks for taking the time to respond Will! Definitely makes sense, I get it and figured it was worth an ask. Sometimes I need a reminder that this is just reality with limited resources and vendors that do the bare minimum to scrape by.

Yeah, the basic answer is: I suspect that nobody outside of Marvell knows. Many times a vendor will not investigate an issue beyond the scope of what is reported to them. Sometimes they just break the PoC that was provided. In this case, Marvell's statement only mentions 88W8897.
