I deleted that Jacob Wohl thingy because it becomes impossible to use the Twitter iOS client when something gets retweeted a lot. Plus, like, who cares? We’ll always have the press conference with the fly down to remember.

Using Safari instead of the native iOS Twitter client is less annoying, more secure, and faster.

Huh... I've ditched the native client on my iPhone about a year ago and haven't looked back. Maybe I don't know what I'm missing?

Last time I used the web client on mobile it was pretty far behind sadly. The iOS one is pretty good as long as nothing goes viral. If it does it is unusable - literally, it just hangs constantly, they need to do some performance optimisation

Yeah, the hangs/pauses/performance were why I ditched it. I didn't mind the decrease in attack surface / permission-creep as I left it either.
