While I generally agree with "reasonably small functions" and single-purpose classes and the like, I think people seriously underestimate the value of having all the running code colocated in the same function, screenview, or even file.

Bubbles are laid onto an infinite canvas, and scaling happens via spacing within a canvas and onto multiple canvas (as hinted by the minimaps in the top bar). VSCode's preview pane is similar, but it's more like a transient interruption than permanent comparison.
