For the past two years our kid has been using "FatNums", a slightly different numeral representation we came up with, for all her school arithmetic problems. She thought it'd be nice to write it up and share it. Here goes.

What's interesting is that all the 3D notations listed in the paper are (1 x 1) x 1D, i.e. sub-dimensions are only used to denote power. But your notation uses sub-dimensions for the base value, which seems to have no historical analogue.
