My 2c as someone PL-adjacent: I thought OPLSS last year was fun, but not useful. Lecture format with no interaction is exhausting, and I learned little. 95% of value was hanging out with attendees and making friends.

Agree. I think it is valuable under two conditions, (1) if your primary interest is theoretical (for lack of a better term) PL and (2) you have already studied it for a bit. Also, the topics change year-to-year, so go during a year where topics are things you care about.

I went to OPLSS with very little background, and understood about 20%. Now that I'm a few years deep, I can re-watch the videos from the year I attended and I get about 80%.
