Yeah, reading the beginning of PG's post was kind of surreal. A nearly Wolfram-scale ignorance of related work.

I don't know... I'm all for fun experimentation, which this thing clearly is, not a research project. But given this project's natural publicity, wouldn't it be more valuable for everyone if it were informed by PLT or HCI?
