Even dirtier secret / abstraction is that many problems in ML are human oriented :) Data labelling / training, Model understanding / reasoning, accountability / bias, etc.
The dirtier secret is that it's the least efficient form of teaching. No one has figured out how to take higher-level/structured feedback or input from human annotators.
