Advantage Solutions (https://advantagesolutions.net/privacy-policy/ ) sells info related to shopping so retailers can better market to you (it seems). They do not have a link at the bottom of their site - but you can opt out of the sale of you info here: https://app.onetrust.com/app/#/webform/c81e9b88-7ed7-41cf-b6bc-7d2c781f93b9 …

Wait I take that back - The Advantage Solutions doesn't have an option to opt out of the sale of your info! Unclear how to actually opt-out of the sale of your information. Definitely not in compliance with the CCPA.

Clarity Services is an
@Experian business - but with a separate privacy policy. No clue if opting out via Experian opts me out of their related businesses.... I hope so because there is no way to opt-out of the sale of my info directly with Clarity.https://www.clarityservices.com/privacy-principles/ …Prikaži ovu nit -
This data broker basically has no privacy policy. They are registered as a data broker in Vermont. But no way for me to opt out of the sale of my data: NATIONAL CONSUMER TELECOM & UTILITIES EXCHANGE, INC.: https://www.nctue.com/terms-of-use

Is there any guidance on what companies are allowed to demand for verification?
@Whitepages demands photo of drivers license plus front and side facing photo of you with the drivers license. -
Not really, just that they can't use it for anything but to verify you. ID seems reasonable. (7) Use any personal information collected from the consumer in connection with the business’ verification of the consumer’s request solely for the purposes of verification.
