Monarchs are amazing creatures & are well known for being a very important pollinator & an incredible migrant, traveling thousands of miles from Canada & upper reaches of North America to places like FL, Mexico, and southern CA. #WhosePoo
Unfortunately, monarchs are at risk & are suffering declines all across their range. For more info on their ecology & cool research, check out @gmitch_ecology, @smknigh, @NorrisLab, @TylerFlockhart, & several others that are doing awesome work on this iconic species!
@MonarchsJV is also a great resource. @joi_rapture also shared this photo she took of a monarch she helped tag as part of a fantastic citizen science effort - http://1tag.org . Check out their website on how to be involved! #WhosePoopic.twitter.com/PE8u6tpAX3
