    AlphaStar by can now play StarCraft 2 so well that it places in the 99.8 percentile on the European server. In other words, way better than anyone I know, but would still get destroyed by the Korean demigods of the game. This is very impressive

    “If the results appear to disprove one theory, each has agreed to admit he was wrong—at least to some extent.“ So it will not be a total waste of money—at least to some extent (whatever that means).

    Given the advances in understanding neural circuits this 20 million could have been used for neurobiological research to develop *new* and *testable* circuit and cellular level theories of consciousness. GWT is too unspecific. IIT is untestable. I'm sorry.
