        Same as when drug companies have to pay settlements of a few million dollars after they made billions from the drug. Im sure it was totally worth it to them and they’d happily do it again

        Solid question. If I understand correctly it goes to the government because they filed the suit. I don’t believe this was the @CFPB in which case the money would go to those wronged. In this case, it’ll probably go the border wall, because that’s a priority! FFS (again)
