Analysis: The next generation of voters is more liberal, more inclusive and believes in government. By 2020, many will be eligible to vote in the presidential election, which means their values and opinions will soon begin shaping national politics. https://wapo.st/2FDLxq6

Sadly they are products of a liberal public education system that fails to teach individual responsibility and love of country.

I love my country, and you don’t get to decide that I don’t. Not falling into the trap of nationalist blind loyalty means that I love my country enough to call it to a higher standard. Can you say the same?pic.twitter.com/yjCtPozyde

They believe in government? If that means they want government to run more things then we're all in trouble. They don't know that most things government touches only get worse. The more socialist this country becomes the worse off we'll become.

We used to have private fire departments. We stopped after cities kept burning down.

Once they begin paying taxes, have families and real jobs many of them will be reformed. You work hard, get a nice big paycheck and realize 33% is gone the “poof” they will abandon the socialists and not look back.

Or maybe they'll reorient spending to better healthcare and education, and end subsidies for the mega rich in the form of unfair tax breaks and grotesque military spending that encourages a cycle of wars that bankrupt the country...

And this can't happen soon enough. The ills of our govt rest squarely on the shoulders of old, out of touch representatives that literally grew up when phone calls were made by someone at a switchboard manually connecting one person to another. And these folks make our laws now.
