So I know you can get the 'normal' of a Distance field, but is there anyway to get the 'tangent'? ( aka the direction that the field increases the *least* in ? )

To put this more concretely: Every vector perpendicular to the normal is a direction the field doesn't increase or decrease in (to first order).
