@EricLengyel Quick sanity check here: in OpenGEX, it appears to be possible to list translate, rotate, scale in any order. Is it therefore valid to specify rotation around a point? (i.e., have two sets of translations.) Is it *intended* to work like this?

Yes, it’s perfectly fine to have translate, rotate, untranslate to achieve rotation about a point.

This is completely independent of the verbiage quoted, however. That refers to the separation between node and object transforms, which allows a local pivot to be specified without affecting child nodes.
