I’m concerned that there’s not enough interest in the intersections (ARKit + Metal) or the latest niche features (Metal 2 on A11), but I don’t especially want to do yet another “Let’s Make a Triangle in Metal” talk.

If I were hypothetically submitting proposals to iOS conferences happening this fall, what would you want to see me talk about? Metal? Metal 2? ARKit? Something entirely different?

Display timing & scheduling. Measure how long until next vblank, how long since last one, how to submit T times before vblank, how long (in vblanks) last N frames have been displayed & if they missed their target

Currently this info is very hard to get in almost all APIs and platforms I don't know if Metal has enough of what's needed to know all of this. Some info may obviously still pending (e.g. last frame hasn't finished yet)
