Happy to chat about that process. DMs are open. tldr: some startups are happy to customize a role for someone wears multiple hats based on skills. And comp or contract requests can be honored, if they make sense.

I’ve asked for relocation expenses, when moving for a new job. That’s standard but not always part of original offer. And lots of companies are now willing to negotiate around working remotely.

Startups are often happy to tailor roles to some degree. I’ve been asked to draft my ideal role on Google docs, and then discuss that as part of the interview process. This process makes sense when hiring someone like me, who has worn a lot of product & marketing hats.
