So, the 2nd derivatives agree too? Just checked with my own rasteriser and I see no issues with plain old rounded rects.
The radii of curvature, which can be expressed in terms of the 2nd derivatives, agree. Whether or not it’s an “issue” is a matter of taste. G2 curves are used in Apple software because they more nearly match the curves of the hardware.
