It wouldn’t be TOO hard, I’ve seen people getting dat: running on their Androids.
I quake at the thought of becoming a browser dev, but I wonder if there’d be interest from, e.g., @brave.

You could use WebRTC. You'll have to compile your own Dat WebRTC library though as the current one is outdated.https://github.com/datproject/dat-js …
