Metal by Example puts the in-flight buffer index increase in the completion handler. That's not right. @warrenm
It’s not wrong, either. I suppose you could increment and signal the semaphore in the scheduled handler. Is that what you meant?

The index should be increased immediately after a frame is encoded, or the next frame's encode will corrupt the buffer of the prev.
