The demo pair I heard sounded MEH-tastic. Defective unit perhaps? I’ll give it another try.

The reported audio issues scared me back to the H6. Just have never had great quality with Bluetooth.

Even wired, the H7’s sounded terrible.

That's a shame. Before the H6 I had wired/BT Sonys, and they at least sounded pretty good on wired.

I have those. I like them when they are wired, but the bass is too much and the mids are muddy..

Yeah, I noticed a small amount of bass loss on the H6s, but much clearer and more detailed sound.
