@warrenm I’ve read your book, made some demos: https://github.com/nthState/GPUVideoEffectsWithTVOS … The Gaussian function is fairly slow, is it because of the loop?
My Gaussian implementation is naive. It would be better to separate it into two passes or iterate a box filter. Or, use MPS :)
