      Do I have to download the entire Xcode 8 beta 2 XIP (what’s a XIP, BTW?)? There isn’t an update or whatever?

      I don’t think there’s a delta available (as per usual). A xip is basically a signed zip. Consult: http://www.unix.com/man-page/osx/1/xip/ …
