The barycenter of MSAA samples (at least with AMD RX) seems not on the center of a pixel. Not knowing that location is a problem for hybrid rendering of rasterization and ray tracing.

Here’s the default pattern for 4xMSAA. What leads you to say the barycenter doesn’t correspond to the pixel center? https://developer.apple.com/documentation/metal/graphics_rendering/render_targets/using_programmable_sample_positions …pic.twitter.com/BWn0rrAq5a

When the ray tracing result is super imposed on the rasterization result, there is always a bit misalignment. Adding a fixed value offset to the ray tracing sampling (around 0.15) reduces the artifact a lot.
