Quick afternoon #metal hack. Demonstrates:
∙ Drawing circles
∙ Orthographic projection (off-center)
∙ Instancing (this is two draw calls)
∙ Different step functions for stage_in (per-vertex and per-instance)

If it were me, I’d use something like VASEr (http://tyt2y3.github.io/vaser-web/ ). It’s one of the most complete and flexible line tessellators I’ve seen, and there are too many edge cases for me to reinvent that wheel again.
