I enjoyed the bits about scene graphs and app organization from the Modern Metal 2 post. I'd vote for more details on factoring the renderer into reusable parts and abstractions that would lead to minimal game engine. Love the posts!

Also, I’m working at cross purposes here, since I don’t think Swift is ready for prime-time use in large systems, and I know it’s not suited to my ultimate use cases. I’m still on C++ for systems that need to be cross-platform. Obj-C++ when necessary.
