A plastic bunny holds the key to our future. The world is a strange and wondrous place.

So basically what this article is saying is that everything in every science fiction game became a reality in 2019.

In this wag the dog moment it’s unclear which is the big deal and which is the distraction - Iran or impeachment. Clearly wants us thinking about one and not the other. The American people have to prove to him that we can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I guess given that we're likely to be going to war with Iran pretty soon the minimum wage doesn't seem like the most pressing thing in the world, but still... This is obscene.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry but apparently Pokémon Go is a worldwide security threat! My favorite thing in the article is the bit about the Canadian authorities uggesting getting a 12 year old to explain the game to them.

Anyone ever stop to think about the 6502 chip that kickstarted the personal computer age? Well, turns out there was one guy who invented it - Chuck Peddle. He died this week and deserves a moment of silence for, oh, you know CHANGING THE WORLD FOREVER...

So much for “do nothing” Democrats, eh? It’s the hypocritical, gaslighting, do-nothing Republicans who are preventing the people’s business from being done in Congress.

It's weird to me that no one has pointed out the irrelevance of all the talk from House Republicans and about the "great" economy and "great" trade deals and "great" this or that. Trump abused his power and obstructed Congress. That's all that matters, isn't it?

I found this video about the magic of chess, well, magical. I'm a terrible chess player but find the game and the people who play it fascinating. And just listen to these kids - even in my dotage I'm not sure I'm as articulate as they are!

The Marathon via . Just came across this Russian cartoon celebrating the 60th birthday of Mickey Mouse. Quite a lovely tribute to the timeless appeal of the character.

Well this seems unlikely. An updated version of Epic Mickey for current-gen gaming platforms? I mean, I'm totally ready for it and it's not like Disney tells me anything these days, but I just don't see it happening. Hope I'm wrong and this is for real.

Deus Ex, System Shock 2 and Thief made the Popular Mechanics list of best PC games. Pretty cool.

I’m not going to say whether I’m down with Bernie Sanders or not but when you see billionaire earning numbers like the ones in his tweet it kinda makes you stop and think. I mean there’s inequality and then there’s obscenity. No one needs or derserves that much money.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I watched this. Sadly, there are people out there who will prefer the Trumpster's version - he's "authentic" and "tells it like it is" they'll say, versus the "elite's" version. Sigh.

I hope sees this. To him I say: How does it feel to be reviled, knowing your arch-nemesis is lauded by so many? (I can't believe I just said "arch-nemesis" but I do feel like I'm living in a comic book these days...)

Deus Ex and System Shock 2 made the list of Ars Technica's favorite games. A great selection of games and an honor to be included. (Though, to be clear, I had nothing to do with SS2, having worked only on the first game in the series and now the third).
