I’ve only been in the industry for 5 years, and I too was never promoted without changing jobs entirely. And companies wonder why my generation has no “loyalty” to them.

5 years.. and you have changed jobs.. interesting. Maybe my expectations are skewed but how long would you expect to work at a company before being promoted? Genuinely interested!

Maybe part of the problem is "expecting" a promotion. Quite a few tweets use "expect."
