    QTing this in light of right wingers being mad about the Capitol officers' testimony this week. The Thin Blue Line flag isn't really about supporting cops, it's about a violent far right political identity that imagines cops as its front lines. Too they often are, but not always

    The Trumpists' Thin Blue Line flags were never about supporting police officers, they were just code for fascism & racism. And yes that often meant supporting police officers, but if/when/where police officers are against those things, the Trumpists are against police officers
