    or a fuzzy weighted bloom filter? remembers w/more confidence binary patterns it has seen more (weighted) & can query patterns that are close to ones it has seen (fuzzy). The only missing part is mapping the match to a different value, that can be done with a fuzzy hashtable :P

    Nice parsing trick I saw on a jison[1] example, define all lexer tokens and at the end a match all that creates an "Invalid" token, then (all?) your errors will be parser errors and will say "expected X, Y, Z, got invalid" and not ugly lexer errors [1]
