    interesting question - what if the collaborative nature of mapping lies in post-it notes? Gathering people in half-circle, preventing them from building their fortresses behind a desk is actually proven to shift emotional states.

    Current status: in a 🇧🇪 hotel, completing workshop aimed to find things that do not yet exist. Like did for his book, but in business. I have waited for this opportunity a really long time.

    That shift is seen as an attack on Open Source. It's not. It's just an unavoidable environment change we have to adapt. Inconsiderate usage of 'Open' approaches only increases the power of Cloud Companies.

    Creating Open Source frameworks destroys traditional software business models (paid libraries). A shift from brain power revenue ('Open Core' , 'Consulting', 'Support') to hardware revenue generators ('compute', 'network', 'storage') invalidates traditional OS business models.

    There are three critical components in IT: 🖥computing power 📡network 💽 storage. I could also add 2 secondary 🔐IP (voided by Open Source) 🧠brainpower Companies owning them benefit from Open Source.

    Since my talk @ happened in really bad circumstances, here are my most important thoughts: 'Open' is a business destroyer. By using it (releasing anything), you nullify any business models, unless you own a critical component which will drive revenues.

    Fun fact: "If you can't measure it, you can't manage it" is a misquote. I know, I got it wrong for *years* too! The full Deming quote is actually: “It is wrong to suppose that if you can't measure it, you can't manage it – a costly myth.”

    I'm still thinking about presentation about the importance of code transparency. I believe it focuses on a wrong thing. The coffee is important, but implemented policies even more. Why should we limit transparency to those that can code?
