Clever - but of course one has to compare pre-Chesa (2019) w/post-Chesa (2021). YTD, 2021 vs 2019: Homicides +15.4% Burglary +21.9% Car Theft +33.5% Arson +56.3% https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1shF9HBKAyaxjCkFMbnpdr6ORZtFnWds-HW0AXGkDdd0/edit?usp=sharing … Shootings are up 105.2% YTD 2021 vs 2020. Reality differs. Also the pandemic and the medical guidance in response to it should matter.https://mobile.twitter.com/RealJusticePAC/status/1384965663488450560 …

Real Justice @RealJusticePACFACTS: Sexual assault, larceny theft, robbery, and homicides have all plummeted with@ChesaBoudin as San Francisco DA. Without normalizing them against a nationwide crime wave there is little relevance, but you could at least start with selecting the time period from when he took office rather than was elected.

Gun violence increases here and there throughout SF history. Thankfully we have ELECTED a DA who will attack the causes. Working to get guns off the street with the below program and more.

Name three things he's done that actually are making the city safer and "attack the causes of crime". Cause
@WeideKarsten's stats are spot on. I'll wait.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

1) followed the medical guidance of our
@SF_DPH unlike the epidemiological disaster that is republican lead jurisdictions. 2) Cleared the multi decade rape kit backlog 3) Ended cash bail, meaning that bail is about more than just your financial situation.http://standwithchesa.com1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes
So you think these are "the root causes of crime" and thus the city is "now safer"? #2 and #3 are great but I'm not sure how the city is "safer" because of those efforts.
