Last night on his “town hall” @chesaboudin said that we couldn’t get drug dealers off our streets because we first had to ensure the safety of their families in Honduras. This is madness. Our city is overrun with dealers.

Context of the quote was to a question on how federal officials said they would crack down on dealing in the TL but drug dealing in the TL is more evident than ever. That's when Chesa responded on how dealers are trafficked and they and their family face penalty of death at home.

I think the reality is people don't want drugs being dealt on the street. I'm all for going after bigger dealers, but I'm not seeing a plan to do that and the Feds, who promised to do that, didn't seem to deliver. That we can't deport dealers who are poisoning people is maddening

Sounds like someone doesn't walk the Tenderloin. Street dealers are notoriously brazen. You see money and bindles being exchanged in the open. I *think* they're drug dealers because *I see* them *dealing drugs*.

This also happens in mid market, occasionally within Union Square. Basically, the downtown core of this city.
