    From today, proof of COVID-19 vaccination for people aged 16+ is required when visiting the Museum. You can show proof of vaccination in a digital or hard copy format along with an acceptable form of identification where applicable. Check the link in our profile for info.

    COVID-19 UPDATE - Masks are required from 6pm, Sunday 16 January 2022 in all indoor places in the Perth and Peel region. This includes Museums. When visiting, don't forget to check-in using the Safe WA or ServiceWA apps, or the manual register.

    ◆ COVID-19 Update ◆ The Museum is open from 9.30am - 5.00pm. When visiting, don’t forget to check in using the SafeWA app. From 6pm, 7 January 2022, masks will not be required inside the Museum.

    We welcomed our through the doors while we celebrated our first birthday 🥳 Julie and family were absolutely thrilled, and to celebrate, the family received a goodie bag from the Museum shop. We think Otto loves the extra cuddles, don't you? 🐋🤗

    Happy family of four adults and three children are standing together smiling in the entry foyer of the WA Museum Boola Bardip holding their gifts as the 700,000th visitors through the doors since Boola Bardip opened on 21 November 2020. One of the gifts include a soft toy of Otto the blue whale which one of the younger children lovingly hugs.

    We observe one minute of silence this Remembrance Day at 11am. To honour this day we share this bugle, used by Lance Corporal William Fenwick Roscoe of the 3rd Field Ambulance C Section at the Gallipoli campaign. Roscoe maintained this bugle was the first ashore. Lest We Forget.
