I still don’t think people understand what it means for 33 million people to be displaced. That’s 6 times more people than those internally displaced in Ukraine from war, that’s roughly 90% of the population of Canada.

To my knowledge, only 6 foreign entities have reacted to the bombing of a kindergarten in Mekele: Unicef, Britain, Germany, US, UN Geneva and EU. All of them have in one way or another simply condemned the airstrike. But Borrell has been the only one to take Addis responsibility.

For the record, this is the UK’s response to children being bombed in Mekelle. And FWIW, this “seizure” has already been acceptably reasoned (with receipts). But surely we can move past “all sides” when one side is bombing kindergartens!!! #TigrayGenocide

Emboldened by the unconditional support from IC actors, the genocidal regime has resumed carpet-bombing Tigray. It is to be remembered that the regime conducted 62 airstrikes in urban and civilian settings between June 2021 and February 2022.
