Please check the history and effectiveness of multimember districts. They should be made legal again. Their existence would, in large part, take away the entire discuss about gerrymandering.

I saw a bunch of Celebs rallying against the GOP gerrymandering in Texas. I asked if they felt the same way about Dem Gerrymandering in IL, CA & NY. No response.

I don't switch sides. I can't abide fair weather Federalism and I can't get my head around people saying X is bad if my political opponent does it, but X is good if my preferred political person does it.

Doubt that will happen, because A) gerrymandering has been taken to much greater lengths in Republican-dominated states (like mine) and B) its beneficiaries are pretty unsympathetic. Legislators from completely safe districts tend to be bad both at politics and at legislating.
