17 years ago I wrote a lot of the graphics code behind SpiderMan 2, showcasing the power of the PlayStation 2. Never in a million years would have imagined these same buildings ray traced, in realtime on PlayStation 5. Simply amazing , Sony ATG, et. al. Bravo!

One of the (many) joys of homeschooling my kids this year has been making the daily worksheets in LaTeX. It's a satisfying kind of coding, and designing & adapting problems to where they are at each day is rewarding.

In this app, async/await keeps tricking me into race conditions. Why isn't await the default behavior when calling an async function?

Has anyone used git-lfs for a large game project yet? Does it work in practice? (Also, has anyone used Microsoft Scalar? Thoughts on that?)

My brother has two years of mobile app development experience and lost his job due to covid. Does anyone have any openings or leads? He's a hard worker.

I just filed the form to homeschool our boys (7 and 11) this year. Never would have considered w/o COVID, cognizant of the privilege we're exercising in having the option, and excited/freaked out by the coming adventure.

Do any of my followers have interest in /regression ? If an amazing/robust product which you could use with just a single and a few lines of C/C++ integration code and no experience existed, would you be interested in using it?

How exciting when someone takes a quick look at your code (widely deployed for years) and finds a 5x speedup! Thanks

Almost no one in tech talks about their kids and I have a lot of ugly theories (and experiences) around it. I just want y’all to know I have 2 awesome kids, and parents in tech exist.

Code has been committed for nearly a week and the build is completely locked down and submitted, but QA have yet to test my system. Is the code in a quantum superposition of perfect and totally broken until they update the JIRA?
