Legally no , once they started to retreat and exit the building she should have stopped firing, she was literally firing at them while they had they're backs turned and were running away ,

You think she is gonna feel safe in that house knowing that some of the robbers survived? Did you see that they were also armed? Or you think they had toy guns?

She has all the right to open fire to protect her life , but once they retreated and ran away she continued to shoot even after they were outside probably shooting them in the back , in most states that's murder

Perfectly acceptable response. Don't want to die, don't break into someone's house.

Know a guy he used to steal car radios late at night. Got caught by the owner with shotgun in hand. Guy told him he would not call the police but he will rewire that radio and he better pray that it works when he got done. He told me he will not being stealing ever again.

Have a buddy who was a swat officer for 10 yrs. He said if someone is running away, but still armed AND shooting, he would dump them as the possibility is high for them to take a defensive position and continue to fire. Makes sense to me.

Makes sense to me too. Although today, people are too sensitive to understand those dangers. They automatically see someone running and make them the victim.
