Agreed, insofar as if we apply concepts like misogyny or racism to comedy we are only going to destroy it. If it is a binary choice we're faced with between an inclusive, dead comedy and a vital problematic comedy, it's a fairly easy one to make
I just think subjecting comedy (or life, for that matter) to that kind of crit takes all the joy out of it. Maybe women should have their own medium for humour. Lady Comedy.
