I’m with Paglia and Greer that gender equality is a profoundly reactionary goal if your idea of gender equality is scaling the corporate ladder or enlisting in the armed forces to kill strangers halfway across the globe or learning to code in a rat race to join the digital lumpen
In what way is neoliberalism "reactionary"? Are we just using that word to mean "bad" now?

uhh it's reactionary because it specifically arose out of a need to roll back labor's gains post ww2

Neoliberalism arose pushing back on the power of organized labour, social democracy, leftist anticolonialism and leftist anti-war movements. Now even a full-blown attack in even New Deal type restraints on the barbarism of capital. How is it not reactionary?
