Every wrongheaded and idiotic fringe movement deserves to be addressed seriously as a symptom of a real problem. All too often their idiocy is taken as a sign that the problem is nonexistant

In the former, the symptomatic racism becomes the Problem and negates the importance of the problem that produced it. In the second, the symptom of romanticising primitive lifestyles becomes the Problem and negates the problem of industrial society
