I'm having some trouble transitioning between the unfettered meanness and inconsistency of character granted by anonymity, to the slight social repurcussions incurred by having an avatar. I still don't really believe that anything said or done on the internet matters in any way
What's worse is when this erasure of of a sense of personal history extends into a real social environment and one believes they can be one person on one day, and another on the next without incurring any repurcussions
