Liquid is awesome. It’s like the early days of the web. People thought it was stupid until they had a reason to use it. Fees are still low (use case 1), privacy tech isn’t deployed (use case 2), security tokens take a decade (but it’s on track), smart contracts (, etc)

I think it’s viewed with the wrong lens — it’s an upgrade from completely centralized things (CEXs etc) and not in competition with Bitcoin the base layer.

I dont know why liquid isnt used more as a merchant tool. You can swap out daily or weekly to reduce federation risk, which is overstated IMO.
