    I'm surprised no cloud provider offers a Memcached/Redis service that charges on actual amount used (as opposed to instance memory/hr). Many serverless apps could benefit from a cache with serverless pricing model even if it was low-throughput or multi-tenant.

    I think the JavaScript feature with the biggest unlocked potential are (async) generators. They are perfect for long running processes / conversations. Here a fun example of their potential: stateful, functional components without using hooks in React:
