This could be a huge step toward postal banking, which means a lot of the infrastructure is already there. (Assuming this wouldn't exclude additional locations for public banks.)

These banks will undercut commercial banks then grow in size until they’re all that’s left, and then control the entire economy by restricting how all money is spent. You want to borrow money to expand your payroll? How many transgender people will you employ?
