#JohnMcCain will be remembered as the last great senator from Arizona. Flake has nothing to lose but he will still follow the party line. It's a shame.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Thereby negating anything he ever said about Trump's ethics, bombast and narcissism. He just set the traitor free.

Yes, he is innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the court. But SC justices should have higher standards for CONFIRMATION than criminal trials have.
-
No they shouldn’t if all it took was an allegation with absolutely no evidence or corroboration to destroy someone’s career then no one would be safe & we become an unstable country on very shaky ground which I think some actually want so they can rebuild America to their liking
-
It's not just an allegation, and Supeme Court Justice is not any position. I'm sorry, but there shouldn't be any doubts towards the US' highest justices' ethical authority. That's one of the major reasons why there's hearings.
-
There are no doubts in my mind and many many others that he is innocent. Also the only thing they have is an allegation that is it period! It’s especially imperative that high positions don’t become political. It becomes especially destabilizing in that case.
-
Your absence of doubts is completely political. I wonder if you were so distrustful of allegations against Hillary Clinton. You are insanely naïve if you think these allegations are exclusively political, and that the Supreme Court isn't politicised since literally always.
-
Marbury vs. Madison, for example, was the birth of the modern Supreme Court, and it was a completely political decision based on Presidential appointments. If you want to blame someone for 'politicizing the Supreme Court', you've gotta blame Jefferson and Madison, not Dems.
-
And the only thing they have is several allegations, holes in Kavanaugh's story, and a degree of circumstantial proof - surely not enough to convict, but yes to make what should be an ethical referent for America a controversial man with many doubts around his reputation.
-
I’m shocked to my core&scared for our country that if without a shred of evidence someone can be destroyed It’s flat out wrong! I liken it to being black 100 years ago or heaven forbid an eccentric lady in Salem in the 1690’s This isn’t partisan for me step back & take a 2nd look
