What people aren't seeing is that Democrats are using sexual assault as weaponized political attacks. The allegations don't have to be true to throw a wrench. The idea is to simply obstruct in any way possible. These people should be tried for treason.

Oh how I agree with you, when will the pony show end and justice begin?

Hand on heart, who really thinks she would have made this allegation if the nomination was made by a Democratic President? Yep, that’s all you need to know.

She demands an opportunity to testify, then refuses to appear. Sounds like something a credible accuser would do. Time for Republicans to vote and move on.

In 1991, Senate Republicans said an FBI investigation was the “the very right thing to do” – but now, those same Republicans insist the FBI cannot investigate whether Judge Kavanaugh committed sexual assault. Why?

This is perhaps the stupidest take I've heard, and that's saying something considering you're responding to a Vox article

No Republicans are NOT rushing on Kavanaugh. It is about getting the nomination and confirmation done and over. Democrats are the ones delaying, delaying, delaying, in the vein hope they retake the Senate and can confirm or deny. Don't even fool yourselves
-
Republicans held open Scalia's seat for 400 days.
-
Saying, let the Presidential Election decide. Had Hillary Clinton won, she would have been the one making the nominations.
-
So they made up a new rule and then delayed, delayed, delayed?
-
It was a Presidential year in regards to Scalia's open seat. By letting us citizens vote, we decided which person would be nominating. Isn't that kind of Democratic?
-
We had already decided to let Obama choose a nominee (who would then be fairly vetted by the Senate), per the Constitution.
-
Once again, it was the last year of his election. Had it been George Bush and Democrats delayed his pick until after the election, would you be this uptight?

I think this strategy is horrible. they may be sacrificing potentially explosive testimony that could derail the nomination for a "talking point." A talking point which may get them exactly nothing if the public doesn't hear the full story.

There are some signs that the way he has handled his response raises red flags about how he would deal with similar cases on the court. His silence on the laws and credibility test with no facts is not the best person to put on the bench
-
He wasn't silent. He denied the allegations firmly and completely. He treated Ford with amazing respect, in fact, never once suggesting she's lying just that she's mistaken
