The best way to encourage people to keep people at home during this pandemic is to establish a universal basic income. Pay to keep people at home and safe. This is entering, not only national conversation but international.
To those protesting downtown today, I hear you. Times are tough and it’s easy to feel like the world is closing in and the gov’t is controlling our lives. But it’s important to remember that thousands of people are alive today because we followed the stay at home orders.
