She is the first person Chloe sees in morning (besides her family) and the very first person she sees right after school, who asks “How was your day Chloe?” She is with Chloe during freezing zero degree weather, 100 degree days and rainstorms in between.
She stands without complaint outside the bus in all weather to lower Chloe's wheelchair lift, safely get Chloe on it and lift it up, then stow it away. She always has a smile and she is always calling Chloe “my girl”.
Her name is Ms. Sandy and she is Chloes school bus driver and just like many others teachers, aides, class volunteers and therapist. These are Chloes closest friends and confidantes. The special needs population needs their friends/people. School is their friends and people!"
