To attack the wife of the President is really awful. I don't know why anyone thinks this is ok.

Was there an "attack" or a comparison? And I remember, not too long ago, the wife of a president who was literally attacked, insulted & denegrated almost daily. I suppose she was fair game?
Attacking the wives of any office holder, regardless of political affiliation is not acceptable.
