Brexit's a sign of a wider problem. Fascism is on the rise. It's now backed by anarcho-capitalist Libertarians whose only aim is to destroy institutions like the EU, WTO, UN and NATO. There are also elements of neo-feudalism in the mix. ALL democrats need to up their game.
The challenges that Europe faces, and the opportunities that it can grasp, have not changed because of #Brexit. As part of this, we want to have the best possible relationship with the UK. But it will never be as good as membership. #NewBeginnings

For the life of me I can't think of a good reason as to why the EU would want a best possible relationship with the UK. Break up the Union and there is a chance.

NI back to Ireland and independence for Scotland then the EU has good partners. England and Wales will (sl)wither away into the back pocket of the US.
